Add (Ins). User groups
Name
Editable field used to enter the name of the selected user group.
Login parameters
The options in this section determine which main menu is displayed after login:
- System Administrator – for system administrators.
- System User – for standard system users.
Two-Factor Authentication– when enabled, an additional security layer is applied to ensure that only members of the user group can access the information, even if a password has been compromised. For configuration details, see Configuring Two-Factor Authentication.
DFP view restriction
This section defines the maximum date range that members of the selected user group can view in the Daily Flight Plan throughout the system. The only exceptions are the “My Plan” and “Flight Logbooks” sections, which display the employee's complete personal schedule. For these sections, an application-level setting determines whether the DFP viewing restriction is applied.
Enter the number of days manually in the following fields:
Before– number of days before the current date. After– number of days after the current date.
Please note that these restrictions may affect the generation of certain reports.
Session timeout
Editable field used to specify the maximum session duration for members of the selected user group in the JetXBit Information System.
The value is entered in the hh:mm format. When the specified session time expires, all active windows are closed, and the user must sign in again to continue working.
Telegrams receipt
The check boxes in this section determine whether telegrams received through the selected communication channels are displayed.
Screen form refresh
This editable field specifies the interval, in seconds, at which the system automatically refreshes information displayed on screen.
The same setting can also be configured on each workstation on the Plan Parameters tab of any JetXBit Information System module (Service → System Settings → Plan Parameters).
When both values are configured, the longer refresh interval takes precedence:
tgroup if it is greater than tclient,
tclient if it is greater than tgroup.
If tclient is set to zero, automatic refresh is disabled. The default value is 0.
JetXBit recommends a refresh interval of 120 seconds for operational control personnel (Operations Control Centre, Airport Dispatch Service, and Passenger Service) and 300 seconds for all other users. This helps ensure efficient processing of operational data.
