Quick Launch Toolbar button
A flight task is a written directive issued by the operator for performing flights indicating the AC type and AC registration, crew composition, purpose of the flight, destination airport (area), type of operations, and flight execution time.
This window is used for processing and recording information from Flight Tasks and other documents attached to them. It is also fully available in the “Airline Finance” section. The choice of the section in which Flight Task processing is performed is not significant.
To generate the Flight Task Processing view, it is necessary to select a date range within which the view will be generated. All actions performed while working with it apply only to the specified period in accordance with the granted permissions. Information display may be synchronized either by UTC or by the local time of each airport. This setting is configured in Service → System Settings → Plan Parameters.
Visually, the Flight Task Processing window is divided into two working areas: Flight Task Spread and Flight Task Attachments. The active area is highlighted with a brighter border (see the Flight Task Spread area in the figure).
- The Flight Task Spread area displays the list of all flights from the Daily Flight Plan and related Flight Task information.
- The Flight Task Attachments area displays all flight legs of each flight and related information.
To quickly locate the attachments of the selected flight in the Flight Task Spread area, use the keyboard shortcut [Shift] + [Tab]. After that, in the Flight Task Attachments area, the cursor will automatically move to the corresponding flight leg of the selected flight (see flight 142 leg 1 in the figure).
Icons in the corresponding columns of both areas provide visual control of the document processing status.
