Electronic Announcer
Overview
The Electronic Announcer is a hardware and software solution designed to provide automated public address announcements passengers and non-passengers within airport terminals and surrounding areas.
Components
The solution consists of both software modules (including modules developed by JetXBit) and hardware components:
-
-
VoiceControl — an application for monitoring the announcement queue associated with a selected announcement zone profile.
Web Service — an intermediary service that connects the database with the client applications used for passenger announcements.
-
The solution also includes the following hardware components:
Audio Station — an IBM-compatible computer equipped with one or more sound cards (audio channels), with the VoiceInformer client installed and configured.
Emergency Voice Alarm and Public Address System — the airport's public announcement system used to broadcast announcements and capable of connecting external audio sources (such as an Audio Station).
